I found this works too, although I didn't think to turn off terminfo.

I don't have any curl installed so I didn't test this option.

Okay, I was getting this as well.  I tried the Simon Marlow build of
2.0.2 (+75 patches), and I had other different problems on windows.  I
was starting to think it was just me.
