If we don't find a solution to this soon, we may have to delay our 2008-11-15 release or collapse it with the 2008-11-30 one. For the interested, we now have patches to build darcs on GHC 6.10.1, but piping input to darcs does not work (it does if you use an earlier version of GHC). This causes test suite failures, and as Trent points out, puts a cramp in some people's workflow.
