Karel recently submitted a patch to change this to -d and I applied it.

I think we're just waiting on QuickCheck 2.1 to be installed on that
machine... which is a little bit of an adventure because it has an
older GHC and so the version of the Cabal library that ships with it
is too old.  I've put some copy+paste instructions on the wiki,
though.  I hope they help:
