Hmm.  I would advise checking with darcs-users and #darcs on the right
way to solve these problems.

The discussion on in-repo branches, and maybe the idea of dropping
--no-pristine

As you know, I'm always a bit reluctant to add new flags and commands
(although I do agree that sometimes the best way to keep a UI simple is
to add new stuff, to preempt having to add other uglier stuff later),
and would be happier if we could motivate this with the big picture in
mind.

I don't mean to be discouraging, but this may be a time for one of those
long conversations with a summary at the end :-D
