Great to hear! (I'm hoping the upgrade to 2.1.2 has played a large part in the improvements and not just the switch from Windows, but no matter, if the latter should be the case, it just means we need to keep up our efforts at better Windows support) > However, we had one minor annonyance in the transition. For what it's worth, we currently require GHC 6.6 or higher (oops, I just noticed a documentation bug, for which I am sending a patch now). We try to be conservative about GHC versions, supporting at least whatever Debian stable has, because we recognise that the wider darcs community (unlike the Haskell community) is less keen to live on the bleeding edge. So dropping GHC 6.8 support will likely not happen for a while. > This got me thinking... Please add yourself to http://bugs.darcs.net/issue982 if you would like to hear more about any progress we make on that front.
