That's true, but I don't think that's really an issue. Once you get all 
the advantages that a really good IDE brings, it's hard to go back.

A bigger problem is the huge amount of text based tools programmers have 
created. Making a great IDE based solely on tree representation requires 
you to implement really good counterparts from scratch, an enormous task.
