This might be related to http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/2897 Sorry to keep bugging you, Duncan, but could you suggest a quick workaround (since you commented on the ticket above)? The context is that we're getting a weird error when we try to compile darcs on the Windows build slave (using the autoconf method). Salvatore, do you have any suggestions? > But, I'd say this shouldn't be a priority right now... Maybe we should just > flip to Cabal and see what breaks *then*. I'm sure that can be fixed > post-switch? I think we're fairly close to getting build slaves fixes. If there's intermittent network failures, we should get something working again soonish. If there is collateral damage, I think the effort to fix that damage would be relatively light. - ertai - autoconf collateral (SENDMAIL) - jules - can't darcs get? network issues? (Jules, comments?) - zooko - Windows and GHC 6.10 upgrade - thorkil - Petr, you're suggesting this might be BIGENDIAN related? http://buildbot.darcs.net/builders/thorkil%20tn20%20Darwin-9.1.0%20Mac%20OS-10.5.1%20powerpc/builds/263/steps/test/logs/stdio - reinier - temporary network problems? If I may stall a bit, let's give ourselves at least a day to try and sort these out. I would have much greater peace of mind if we went green before completing the switch... -- Eric Kow <http://www.nltg.brighton.ac.uk/home/Eric.Kow> PGP Key ID: 08AC04F9
