I've been thinking about working on a programmers reference to the

Would that information be better presented as Haddock documentation?
After all, if I'm a programmer then I'm probably already looking at
the haddock output, or the code itself.
I'm thinking more of developers who are not (yet) darcs/haskell
programmers and other curious darcs users.
I was going to start with a user friendly explanation with lots of
examples, but precise BNF style definitions of all of darcs special
file formats might be a good goal.
