I cannot keep up with the speed of these mails. When I responded to Eric's 
mail, I was one mail behind, responding to this matter. Now I am two mails

Right. And is that a problem that will be corrected in the darcs repository? 
Or is it something that I will have to handle, by installing a newer darcs or 
something else? (And at the same time, perhaps someone would please make a 
note in the appropriate place this limitation on the required darcs version, 
whatever it is?)
