The bug effecting me is that darcs v2 can't pull from a darcs v1 repo. I'm not sure if all this partial/tag stuff is relevant as this happens for me on a repo that has never been tagged when checking out without --partial. Having my version control system not be able to get at my old code scares me a lot - not fixing it doesn't seem like an option.
