You forget that my analysis was for 5 years ago when I choose darcs. That 
fact that even today git has over 100 commands is making my point even 
stronger. They didn't seem to learn from past mistakes.

Mine did. I mentioned distributed systems alone when I mentioned the 
command count. If you want to count the non-distributed ones, then don't 
forget CVS which has even less commands ;)
