There is also the patchwork Darcs Interface Layer, which takes src/Darcs/Commands/* and separates the user interaction from the darcs bits: http://code.haskell.org/patchwork/main/Patchwork/DIL/DarcsAPI.hs darcs get http://code.haskell.org/patchwork/main patchwork This may make your work easier.
