Entering System.Console.Haskeline.runInputT System.Console.Haskeline.defaultSettings (System.Console.Haskeline.Encoding.decode $ Data.ByteString.pack [245,189,153,154]) on your ghci prompt should throw an exception about Data.Char.chr being passed an invalid argument. Bye, Reinier
