I don't think this is the case: I carefully avoided linking mmap 0.5 for the Windows binary provided on the darcs.net site: actually I've got only 0.4.1 registered in ghc-pkg. This is a pretty big issue for Windows users (Luca reported this to me too), so I'll do some tests about it. Stay tuned!
