Are you specifically asking about rollback -p or --match or just the behaviour of the interactive UI? [it's actually the same thing under the hood]. Does this help? http://wiki.darcs.net/FAQ#darcs-offers-me-unexpected-match-results More importantly can we improve the documentation? Even more importantly, can we improve Darcs to avoid the need for documentation? This is one of the more surprising aspects of the Darcs user interface. See a recent similar thread (linking to sort of a summary of it): * http://lists.osuosl.org/pipermail/darcs-users/2010-August/024817.html And also the this ticket: * http://bugs.darcs.net/issue337 -- Eric Kow <http://www.nltg.brighton.ac.uk/home/Eric.Kow> For a faster response, please try +44 (0)1273 64 2905.
