out, the technology is the compiler, not the VCS.
What if "pull" could (maybe given a flag that you'd use with your
upstream) re-order all patches from upstream, new or old, as far back in
your history as possible?
Can't you find your patches with
darcs changes --match='author "Alexander McPhail"' ? What sort of
"finding" do you need?
