An update on that: a friend of mine reported that literate Haskell (and preprocessor macros) prevented him to run SourceGraph on the darcs source code. ( http://hackage.haskell.org/package/SourceGraph )
Are we also going to remove it from the commands, where I think it still is used to generate the manual? If we don't remove it from everywhere, it won't help with SourceGraph. But in any case I'd see that as a bug in SourceGraph, not really a problem with darcs.
Now that Ganesh's patches are in screened, shall we start sending patches that remove literate haskell ?
Fine with me. It's been on my list to do for a while but lower priority than lots of other things :-)
We do need to identify whether the documentation being removed is important and if so what to do with it.
