Hi AntC, Thanks for your interest in the Darcs patch theory.
I was wondering if I could follow up on the discussion by asking for a bit of documentation help. Do you have a few moments to spare to suggest improvements to the darcs theory part of the wiki? http://darcs.net/Theory Even better if you could create an account and dive in! Any feedback you could offer would be great. The sort of things I think you might mention are * particular stumbling points you think could have been addressed in documentation * tidying/structuring * collections of things that you think would be helpful So far: - I don't think anybody brought this up but there is also http://darcs.net/Theory/Bibliography - Owen updated the conflictors page with a “the essence of the problem…” style remark (maybe we need a page on just conflicts) - I refreshed the Theory/Example page, updating the table syntax from an wiki document - There was muttering about folding http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Understanding_Darcs/ into the Darcs wiki (we should be able to do this because I think I wrote most of that content so no permissions problems there) Anything else in particular that would have helped you along more?
