Turns out motorbike commuting is fairly hard work ... almost like XC lap
racing but without the huffing and puffing.
Let me explain...
You keep catching just one more car,
just one more ...
just one more ...
Pass this group,
switch ahead of that truck,
pass that taxi,
swerve into that lane,
bypass that queue ...
Get into the fast false flat in Botha ave,
run out of revs for most of the climb (making it even MORE like XC
racing!)
and being passed again by faster vehicles,
Until the technical stuff starts again
Bring on the blessed
robots,
turns,
queues,
circles,
traffic calming measurements
... this is where the nimble little commuter is in its element...
Like I said, without the huffing and puffing...
And no, I won't touch the highway just yet.
