Having a girlfriend in a small town like Bothaville means you get to know half of the town in no time. I've met the race organizer of the race below, and it seems he spent serious time to build a really nice course. The race is 58km's: 4km tar / dirt road, 2 x 25 km laps along the vals river bank and the 4 km back to town. Promised to be 70% singletrack with plenty of technical bits.
Lieb (the organizer) is willing to setup a camp site on his farm for those who don't want to start driving at 4 AM, but that should be arranged personally with him.
