I'm scared!

Hehehehe, let's see how the year progresses. I will definitely be there,
maybe solo, maybe in a team. The only thing I found hard about racing
solo was not seeing anyone because of resting between laps...

No it was not an Omni-Motion event - ours is taking
place on the 6th of December and I hope to see you there.

Were you involved with the M&B 24hour over the weekend
as well?

                How was it?

                Any experience on 29ers?

                Any good / bad opinions?

                Nice summary; nice links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/29er_(bicycle)
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/29er_%28bicycle%29>

I'm quite surprised that there's a lot of recommendation
to ride them from around 5'5" and taller; I thought only the 6'5" crowd
would really benefit...

Personally I won't go for it just yet (still have a
couple of GT 26" frames left to brake... I mean RIDE) but I have a tall,
strong buddy (recent ex A-bunch roadie) looking a new bike; needing (in
my opinion!) confidence downhill and single track.

Gordon: Any experience?? The dude's even taller than you
