1. Don't listen to the Aussies 2. If you're a weight weenie, then don't build the home-made light thing. 3. Read on: If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a light (less than R200 including the battery ... the charger is a normal car battery charger, going for between R200 and R400) And If you want A LOT of VERY BRIGHT light for long enough (10w Halogen for 5 hours, 20w Halogen for 2.5 hours, or LED array for 80 hours...)
