Ok, i eat my words, these chips are working on my nerves, if you had a
single chip to use everywhere it would have been ok to pay a once off fee
and have a chip for life, but i already have 2 chips (winnningtime &
chanpionchip) and it seems that i have to buy or hire a 3rd completely
diffent chip for this weekends BSG Energade Triathlon, a spectrum sport
timming chip.

*sigh*

"Electronic Chip Use: Spectrum Sport Timing will be timing the BSG Energade
Triathlon Series. Participants
will have to either purchase a chip from registration at a cost of R80 or
hire a chip at a
cost of R30 with a R50 deposit. This chip will be used for the whole series.
Teams use
only one chip per team. The timing chips MUST be worn on the ankle otherwise
they will not
register on the timing mats. Only finish times will be provided. Results
will be available
on the Monday after the event at: www.bsgenergadetriseries.co.za and
www.spectrumsport.co.za"
