Hi all, The first of the SPUR Adventure Series events is the Gauteng one; yes, much earlier this year. Venue is Groenkloof, in Pretoria. Total distance is a bit longer than previous years at about 25km, split into 2 x MTB and 1.5 x trail running routes. As before there are also the Nature Hike and Bushbaby Trail events to accommodate all ages and abilities. We're still waiting for the online entry thing to be activated on www.cyclelab.co.za; I'll let you know when it is. We do accept entries on the day, but it would be great to have at least half of the field pre-entered so that on-the-day delays are minimised. This is still the most economically viable event to do; and it is great for first-times (a fast and challenging course for the teams up front who push the pace).
