D&D 4th Birthday Party - Knobbly camp style Its been many moons and many adventures, Faces come and go like stars in the night sky. But four years of trails is something to celebrate, Free riding in the dark, no club, just anyone who can make it, whenever. Volunteers with a passion for looking out for each other and sharing good times.
That's the Dark & Dirty story and the story is 4 years and rollin.. It has been great... I have met some of the best people I know through mountain biking. So lets go and celebrate it... So folks, waaaaaasup for the 4th D&D MTB party... 3-4 April 2009 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3rd April (Friday Night) Leave MooMall on MTB's at about 6pm Overnight Parking arranged with mall, (please send me car make/Reg asap!!!) Daleen will be driving the bakkie through which will take everyones tents/clothes/braai stuff... so you just get to enjoy the ride. It is 40km of mellow dirt road riding where a fun 20km + pace is not really hard work. Arrive at Xtrack at about 8:30pm. If you are not cycling, you can just drive straight there. Maarten will have a huge fire going with braai's ready... So besides having some lekker chats and catching up... we should have some DVD's playing, some really cool stuff.. A mix from MTB stuff to SwaziX and other interesting things.. Folks can cruise that schweet fast Berm track in the dark.. Dunno about trying that new bridge... but we'll see.. Its not a skinny one.. but it has such a rollercoaster dip...
