The Zambesi Cycling Group is an informal group much like D&D riding on Saturday mornings North of Pretoria. The ride currently starts at 6h15 at the McDonald's, Kollonade, Zambesi road for a ride of about 60 km. If you want to do more, you can join me from my home at 5h45, 211 Roos Street, Meyerspark for a 70 km ride. Or you can park at the shopping center about 2km East of the N1 on Zambesi road and join the group at the road between the N1 and the Moloto road at 6h45 for a 50 km ride.
The route includes single-track, jeeptrack, dirt roads and a bit of tar. We ride through some nice bushveld where we often spot game. Also some nice down-hills and up-hills (good for Mabalingwe training!). Sometimes we go past a 4x4 playground with some lovely drop-offs. Contact me for more info.
