Well, it is not TOOO difficult to make the podium if you are the only one in your age group :) Oupa Abel of Blood & Omo fame clinched a Bronze in a slightly younger age group.
But the cherry on top was the lady I talked into Duathlon some five years ago. She made a comeback after having two kids competing in the 35-39 age group and came in second lady overall, seriously kicking some Elite ladies in an inappropriate part of the anatomy.
