believe it or not, the rear derrailleur was still working with that mud-cake on there :)
i gave that lap up and dragged the bike back to the transition area - it took about an hour to get the bike back; it weighed 100 kgs or there-abouts, and the back-wheel stopped turning the moment i stopped pedalling. it took about 2 hours to clean it (with the help of a good samaritan), lubed it, and then continued for another 80 kays or so - but only after they cut that particular piece of track ut of the loop. will clean it properly tonight and see what the damage is. 2009/12/7 Jacques Booysen <[email protected]> > I wonder how much it is gonna cost you to fix that bike, reminds me of > SabieX last year. > > On Mon, Dec 7, 2009 at 2:42 PM, Carine <[email protected]> wrote: > >> some muddy track that i found this weekend at dirt-rider's birthday bash - >> except he wasn't there :( >> >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >> "DarkAndDirty" group. >> To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. >> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >> [email protected]<darkanddirty%[email protected]> >> . >> For more options, visit this group at >> http://groups.google.com/group/darkanddirty?hl=en. >> > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "DarkAndDirty" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]<darkanddirty%[email protected]> > . > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/darkanddirty?hl=en. > -- http://cyclingwith.blogspot.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DarkAndDirty" group.
