Rider solo'd it! Should I dig out some pics for you to see and prepare?

 ROUTE REPORT
The chosen route of this event crosses the western areas of Namibia.
As portions of this route are seldom used by vehicle traffic, road
surfaces can be exceptionally rough and rocky.

Although the national Roads Authority maintains the roads we utilize
(C26-D1982-D1985-C28), road-surface conditions are highly susceptible
to rainfall and torrential storms at this time of the year.

In line with addressing the safety of our participants in this event,
we advise all riders and drivers to exercise extreme caution when
descending hills or approaching ‘river’ crossings. Conditions can
range from dry rocky ruts to storm-water flow situations.

Back-up vehicles with higher ground clearance should be considered.
