Awesome, Mummy! I'm very jealous! Have only done the Desert Dash, but yes, the arrival at the sea is always awesome. They just tease you for another 15km by taking you thru Swakopmund there, but finishing on the beach has a special atmosphere, especially for us binnelanders.
I'm hoping the Joberg2C will feel as good, same finish as Sani2C, so should be. I'm plannig to do the Trans-Baviaans in August as a social event, so will start posting to see how many DnDers want to go down together soon, entries open next week and are expected to fill up fast.
