It's that time again...

It will be a bit muddy. It will be a lot of fun.

Subject: Groenkloof MTB *social* ride this coming Thursday morning (11 Feb
2010), and "Mild to Wild" Night Ride on Thursday night

Hi all

Coming Thursday morning (Thursday 11 February 2010) there's a SOCIAL ride
scheduled: it our "new" regular Groenkloof morning cruise, and our regular
night ride is also happening... read on!

** Thursday Morning Groenkloof ride:

- The ride starts at the latest at 06h00 (try and be in the parking lot INSIDE
by 05h45 to kit up, remember to use the Fountains entrance and pay R18.50 at
the Fountains reserve booms ... if it is closed you might have to enter on the
side of the oncoming traffic like we had to last week)

- This is a social ride, and I will sweep and always stay with the riders at
the back. Then we can even split into two groups if some people want to go a
bit faster, on their own.

Anyone with a mountain bike and a helmet is welcome (so invite your friends!),
and anyone with technical problems will be assisted. The point of the ride is
to gain confidence to ride the sections and to have fun. Training is a bonus
(but tends to happen anyway!)

** Thursday evening "Dark and Dirty" ride

- This is our regular night ride (it's a 35km "Mild to Wild" ride, a good mix
between cruising and working ... best for those of you who have done night
rides before, but still easy enough for a first timer so long you can handle
your MTB).

Details on the night ride (also check out
www.darkndirty.co.za<http://www.darkndirty.co.za>)

- You need a decent mountain bike and need to be able to ride 35km of dirt.

- You need some kind of helmet / head mounted light (LED lights are fine for
this ride) or a handlebar mount light.

- We change the ride level every week.

Hope to see you all there!
