Dark and Dirty Some History and Mailing list info. Ok so the original [email protected] (255 members)was started in the early days of D&D and IS still the MAIN list for communications and updating of information. A few months later, when some members enjoyed chatting / oneliners, a second list was created for this purpose [email protected] (100 members)
Due to the original mailing list name being associated with Adventure Racing, it was confusing as to which list to belong to. Some folks joined the chat (googlegroups) list only and I am forced to send the ride plans and other details to both lists. I have now, today, renamed the original "Advracegn" group to [email protected] Please be sure YOU are on this "MAIN" List as in future it will be the only one we send ride blurbs to. And hopefully in future will be the only one we send reports to also. (thus less duplicate mails for people on both lists) The chat list is great, but only a few folks are on there as it should be used mainly for oneliner chatting.
