My wife's due date (to give birth...) is somewhere in the 1st week of
July, so I would be the singularly most... uhm... unpopular person if I
were to do a night race at that time...
I'm already somewhat in the doodoo about Trans Baviaans, but that's ony
a month later.
When the next one?

next "old school" Adventure Race.
There's something wicked brewing... da Yster
vARk en Hooona Tand 12-hour Adventure Race.
Date - tbc (may/june)
Team format : 4 person mixed or more
Cost -tba
No seconds required (but get em ready for future
events:-)
About 1 hour from PTA/JHB
Pretty much same gear as last Yster vARk race
except for paddling gear:
Your team will need :
Paddlecraft for all team members (preferably
k2's , crocs will also work but will be very shhlooow)
1xPFD, splashy and Paddle per person
Navigators
Yes, get out / dust off those old plotting
tools/grids... we will be having "on the course" co-ordinate plotting.
For newbies, we will hopefully, soon, have a
template on our club site for making your own grid, plus a how-to
section... but also chat to your club buddies for advice
