So the news just got better... On our (Powergirl
&myself) way to the
AfricanX 3day stage run in Kleinmond and I bump into the
race organiser
for the past weekend's Southern Skies 24hr relay mtb...
Where our team received 4th position in the mixed team
category.
So after thanking him (Attie if i'm correct) for a great
race, he
confirms that the turnout was more than they expected
and then asks who
our team was. I said D&D in the States who got 4th
place... Attie then
says: 'well, ur actually 3rd now coz the 1st team wasnt
completely mixed
team... We're still to notify everyone.' Whoohoo!
Congrats everyone! We surely didnt see this one coming!
...And that
makes Team Red Ants the winners!
So have a candle and a whoopwhoop on D&D 2nite!
