Thanks, we'll have a look when we can. > I also noticed that in cameras.xml only the 4:3 format was specified > however, like the the GX7, the camera is also capable of 3:2, 16:9 and 1:1 > aspect ratios. Do I need to provide anything to get those in the > cemeras.xml settings file? The GX8 doesn't have the separate raw modes anymore. All four formats output 4:3 RAW files with the full sensor data. That particular bit of Panasonic insanity seems to have disappeared :) > I noticed that when I tried to use the lens correction module with the > Panasonic 20mm lens on the GX8, the same lens I had previously profiled with > the GX7, it did not work. Do I have to profile the 20mm lens on the GX8 > too? I also need to profile the new 14 - 140mm lens the camera came with. If you select the GX7 and then the lens does it work? lensfun has settings for cameras and lenses so if your camera isn't in its database it won't work automatically. I think the camera settings are just mount (to narrow down the list of lenses) and crop (to know which portion of the lens is being used). So the GX8 should work identically to the GX7. To make it work automatically lensfun needs to have the GX8 in its database.
