hm. i guess that was me breaking it in two places here :| i think for now you should enable the option `never use embedded thumb but half size raw' or similar in the preferences to work around it.
the basic issue is that dt does a terrible job at determining for which images the embedded thumbnail is a good enough approximation. it does so by looking at the modules in the history stack.. if these are just the default processing (basecurve, sharpen, orientation) it uses the embedded thumb. dumb idea in general, and in particular if fusion is used. the only good solution is probably to never use these thumbnails anyways.. but we should for performance reasons maybe come up with a better approximation for this altered state. cheers, jo On Fri, Aug 26, 2016 at 12:56 AM, Wolfgang Goetz <[email protected]> wrote: > basecurve/fusion: Update of lighttable and filmstrip images mostly not > executed > > > Folks, > > playing around with basecurve/fusion shows problems in updating > lighttable and filmstrip images. > darkroom and exported ones are ok. > > > observation: > the only image where update is all the time working > is the last one in film roll.
