my 2cts on this : I have kinda one foot in each world, and since I also
would like to do some dev on windows, I've been trying recently to compile
on windows using MinGW and have had no success just yet with it. Not sure
about Cygwin.
I've sent an email to this list about compiling on windows and haven't
receive much feedback so far.
I might try soon on Manjaro, as time allows.
