Hi,
When you connect your USB dt tries to connect to the mass storage or the camera of your phone. As you want to use the USB connexion to access Internet there may be some conflicts... For traces, you can try to launch dt in command line, something like: "darktable -d all > file.txt" or "darktable -d camera_control > file.txt" or.

Hi -

I recently started USB tethering my phone to my desktop for internet access.

I originally thought I was having a network manager issue. I would
just switch to a WiFi tether when the problem occurred so I did not
pay a lot of attention to it.

It turns out it seems to be darktable that is causing the problem.

I does not matter whether or not I have other programs open, but
whenever I start darktable my USB tethered network connection starts
rapidly disconnecting and reconnecting. When I close darktable the
problem goes away. But, I like mentioned, I can have darktable open
and use a WiFi tether instead of the USB.

I would like to file a bug report but I don't know what command to use
to do a network backtrace or whatever other information that might be
needed?

So what backtrace(s) should I perform to file with the bug report?

Thanks, so much!
Bob
