i try a thing on zonesystem module : add a "show zones numbers" checkbox option that is preset independent and saved into dt_conf Like this, users wanting numbers and those not, can be satisfied. What do you think about it ? Is the principle good ? If the checkbox option is not in dt gui guide line, i can implement it differently. (pushed on git://github.com/rikles/darktable.git (branch: zonesystem)) Another thing : I don't know if preset independent options can be useful for some other modules, but if it does, it would be necessary to uniform that principle and make a guide line for this. Like, for exemple, adding a generic option panel and a button on module header bar to show it. This would be usable by whatever module and only shown on modules using it. This is a proposition only...
