Looks like my indexing (re-indexing) problem is not solved as I had hoped. I can now open all of my folders and select any image into the darkroom but the darkroom filmstrip shows an entirely different folder. Using the spacebar switches me from the correct folder to the folder shown in the filmstrip.
The 'filmstrip folder' is always the same one. If I remove (even delete) the filmstrip folder I can still open other folders but there is no filmstrip and I cannot advance through the roll in the darkroom. I have tried totally removing (and renaming) the problem roll which results in no filmstrip showing for other rolls and when I return from darkroom to lighttable the loaded roll is now gone. This was probably all as a result of my messing with the 'similar images' function. Really a nuisance. Guidance would be appreciated.
