Most of my exported jpg and tif images are really needed as temporary
pieces prior to going to the printer, a web site or a slide show. After
using the exported items I generally relegate them to the trash. On a
couple of times now I have deleted jpgs outside of dt and run into
serious problems.
I wonder, how do the exported files end up in the db at all?
I do simply keep all my exports in the same folder along with the
originals ... Exporting to an external 'export' folder would make for a
duplicate file management system that I am not keen to start.
I would be interested to hear what others do in this regard.
