Hi, I just accidentally noticed that the t shortcut accelerator tries to go to capture mode even without a camera connected.
This ends up with darktable looking completely blank (no modules, no text, no nothing, except different shades of grey (no not fifty!!!)). So it's not entirely obvious that one needs to press 'l' to go back to lighttable mode. So I guess some extra error checking might be in order, possibly displaying "no supported camera connected" when 't' is pressed but no camera is detected.
