Hi,

I have zipped up and added the profiles to the following link:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B0S_ecg_2dqLeVREbzM5dFZmQkE

Please let me know when downloaded (or if there are problem): It's the
first time I've used google docs.

Inside the Zip file is a number of folders with PDFs and Profiles.

I set up a tripod in a fixed position with the camera and took the photos
using the gen-profile script (tethered camera). The camera was on Aperture
priority, I adjusted the exposure compensation down 1 stop and finally set
metering to use the whole frame for metering (to ensure I received a mix of
over and under exposed areas).

There are two main things that changes between profiles in the scene itself:
1) There is a part of a TV in the blurry image
2) A small storm came through at one point, I was still getting over/under
exposed areas but it did affect the ambient light.

I experimented with changing the ISO Noise reduction custom function. I
agree that it makes sense for this to only apply to the captured JPG image
and not the RAW, but I haven't had time to confirm this with Canon
documentation so I thought I would test anyway.

The following folders in the zip file are taken with all camera noise
reduction turned off. I would expect the profiles to be very similar,
although the first folder had more ambient light. I took the second two
profiles after generating all the other profiles below with different ISO
noise reduction settings.
profiling-ISONoiseOff-LongNoiseOff-1
profiling-ISONoiseOff-LongNoiseOff-2
profiling-ISONoiseOff-LongNoiseOff-3

The following folder changes ISO Noise reduction from Standard, Low and
Strong
profiling-ISONoiseStd-LongNoiseOff
profiling-ISONoiseLow-LongNoiseOff
profiling-ISONoiseStr-LongNoiseOff

I have a new born child and don't have much time to analyse the results at
the moment. I hope that these files are helpful.

Regards,

Gary.
