To me it is clear that this new wavelet algorithm is better. I'm not
sure we are lossing details, but clearly the "grain" resulting is lot
smother. I find that I have better results with a strength of 0.9 with
the wavelet algorithm than a strength of 2.0 with non-local means.

I've some years of LR usage and I think that this algorithm is
probably closer to the one in LR in fact.
