The IIs is a different camera, same sensor but lacks the AA filter, so
it isn't surprising that the results differ a bit.
I think it would be great if there was a way to use multiple shotss,
since making them is trivially easy and profiling takes a long time
anyway and is only done once.

hi,
thanks for the data! looks like we already had a `k-5 ii s' in the
database, which seems to have a slight amount more noise than yours.
it does make sense to average the samples, i'm not quite sure yet how
though. because we store parameters to a fit where pointwise averaging
would have made sense, so i'll have to come up with something clever i
guess. for now i've pushed your additional values into the db as
comments, so our graphing/analysis scripts will find them and we can
work with it once i figure out what we need to do.
cheers,

Hi,
I've created a denoise profile for the Pentax K-5 II (new version
of the
K-5). It is available here:

The full archive can be found here:

As you can see from the presets, I took multiple shots for each
ISO. With
the exception of the last two parameters, differences overall seem
slight.
Does it make sense to average the results?
Christopher
