Hi, Yesterday I pushed a big update of my Exiv2 package, with lots of lens recognition related updates from Exiv2 svn.
The new version is numbered 0.23-1pmjdebruijn9 and is available from my darktable-1-1-testing and darktable-unstable PPAs. So if you have updated to the new version of Exiv2 and you had RAW files around which didn't detect the proper lens, it might be worth trying to re-import those files, as it may be detected now. That said, if no major regressions are found, I'll likely be pushing this updated version to the darktable-release-plus PPA in a few weeks when we do a 1.2.1 release.
