First, I'd like to say hello and thank for a great piece of software! I switched from rawtherapee because it couldnt read properly my underwater pics with WB adjusted :) Besides I was impressed by the noise profiling and decided to profile my camera, too. I hope this could help others. I have some comments regarding the blog page:
- I dont know, maybe it's due to the arch linux packaging, but I had no /tools/noise in my DT installation, so I had to google how to do it, get GIT master, etc... - a note on that could be helpful - the remark about applying "raw linear style" before profiling is a bit misleading, the script does the job automaticaly. I thought something went wrong when I saw the exported jpegs - no greenish tint, but finally I figured it's the correct way I also tried to profile the camera with different exposure settings, in the attachement there is a regular one plus an underexposured by 1/3. I dont know which one delivers better result so maybe someone could take a look at graphs and tell which one is better. cheers, Pawel P.S.
