Hi Tobias, re LGG, wicked addition, regarding negative values and values >1.0 
also? 

How about color of wheels stay at extent of output space gamut and some kind of 
warning symbol to centre area of wheel maybe that channel or gamut is clipped?

Does that make sense or have I misunderstood?
