Well found some other strange things that were probably caused by the
database being kind of messed up. Maybe this was the reason for my
problems. Investigated the database and came to the conclusion a fresh
start would be better. So I removed the DB and for the moment that seems
to be ok, sorry for pointing you to an error that's not existent.
No problem with deleting the database, I'm just a newbie with raw images
and therefore no big loss. Seems to me that the database is getting
corrupted when a crash occurs and the database is a rather critical
module, because everything is stored there, well the right place for
valuable data.
Thanks and regards, Wolfgang

can't reproduce. do you have a stack trace? or the particular image?
maybe it's corrupted? or is there a pre-existing xmp with any special
settings in it?

Seems I have found a repeatable crash when trying to load a
single raw
image from a folder. The folder is a nfs-mount on my local

I select a single image and start the import the program
crashes with a
memfault.
Seems to be somehow related to GTK:(darktable:7929):
Gtk-CRITICAL **:
IA__gtk_entry_get_text: assertion `GTK_IS_ENTRY (entry)'
failed. Can I
supply any more useful information?
