To start the ball rolling I'm in for the chapter 1 sections (or others if
needed).

Subject: [darktable-devel] usermanual proofreading

Hi guys,

the usermanual has seen quite some additions recently in preparation of the
upcoming feature release. The current status can be found here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/mw6kae5rdu3lsae/darktable-usermanual.pdf

In order to not come into a rush shortly before 1.4, I'd like to go for an
early proofreading round. We only need to revise those parts that have been
changed significantly.

Here is an overview:

1.2. darktable basic workflow (only first paragraph) 1.2.2.8. Adjusting tonal
values (1 paragraph) 2.2. Lighttable concepts (4 1/2 pages) 2.3.1. Import
(first two paragraphs) 2.3.2. Collect Images (two pages) 3.2. Darkroom concepts
(15 pages) 3.3.1. Navigation (1 paragraph) 3.3.5. Mask manager (3 pages)
3.4.1.5. Contrast Brightness Saturation (1 page) 3.4.3.1. Color balance (1
page) 3.4.5.12. Color mapping (2 pages) Chapter 7. Scripting with Lua (16
pages, still a "draft", only first rough check needed)

It would be great if some english native speakers could put their names behind
the sections they are willing to take over.

There is no time pressure - I will anyhow not be able to start consolidating
changes before mid of october.

Thanks for your support!

Ulrich
